Gear up for a fiery new SUV! Mahindra has unveiled a head-turning limited edition of their popular XUV700, aptly named the Blaze Edition. With only 2500 units available, this exclusive offering caters to drivers seeking a bold and distinctive look without compromising on performance.
A Fiery Exterior for Discerning Drivers
The Blaze Edition sets itself apart with a stunning matte blaze red exterior paint job, guaranteed to turn heads wherever you go. This fiery hue is complemented by a series of contrasting black elements, creating a visually striking and sophisticated aesthetic. The roof is finished in Napoli Black, while the grille, ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors), and alloy wheels all receive the same sleek black treatment.
A Sporty and Sophisticated Interior Of Mahindra XUV700 Blaze Edition
The fiery theme continues within the Blaze Edition’s cabin. Mahindra has opted for a sporty and sophisticated all-black interior with red accents strategically placed for a touch of vibrancy. The stitching on the upholstery features red highlights, while the AC vents and center console boast red accents, creating a cohesive and visually appealing interior environment.
Power and Performance Uncompromised
While the Blaze Edition boasts a captivating design, it doesn’t compromise on the XUV700’s core strengths – power and performance. Under the hood, you’ll find the same proven powertrain options as the regular XUV700. The 2.0-litre turbo petrol mStallion engine delivers a potent 200 HP and 380 Nm of torque, while the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine produces a healthy 185 HP and 420 Nm of torque. The diesel engine paired with the automatic transmission boasts an even more impressive 450 Nm of torque, ensuring effortless cruising and confident power delivery.
Limited Edition Exclusivity
The Blaze Edition is offered in three variants:
- AX7 L Diesel MT 7 Seater (Rs. 24.24 lakhs)
- AX7 L Petrol AT 7 Seater (Rs. 25.54 lakhs)
- AX7 L Diesel AT 7 Seater (Rs. 26.04 lakhs)
Important to note:
- The Blaze Edition is exclusively available in FWD (Front-Wheel Drive) variants. There are no AWD (All-Wheel Drive) options offered in this limited edition.
- Compared to the standard XUV700 trims, the Blaze Edition carries a premium of approximately Rs. 25,000/- for its cosmetic enhancements.

A Strategic Move by Mahindra?
The Blaze Edition’s arrival could be interpreted as a strategic move by Mahindra to bolster XUV700 sales as it approaches its mid-cycle update. Launched in 2020, the XUV700 is due for a refresh, potentially leading to a name change – the Mahindra XUV 7XO, aligning with Mahindra’s latest naming convention established with the XUV 3XO. This upcoming update is expected to bring significant visual refinements and feature upgrades.

Standing Out from the Crowd
The Mahindra XUV700 Blaze Edition caters to a specific audience – drivers who crave a distinctive and head-turning SUV without sacrificing performance. The limited availability of 2500 units further enhances its exclusivity. While the price tag reflects a premium for the cosmetic enhancements, the Blaze Edition offers a compelling proposition for those seeking a bold statement vehicle.
So, if you’re looking for an SUV that breaks away from the ordinary and sets the road on fire, the Mahindra XUV700 Blaze Edition might just be the perfect match for you!
