New Hero Xoom 125R Spotted Testing

Hero Xoom

The Hero Xoom 125R has been seen testing on the road, and this is big news for scooter lovers! This new scooter was spotted near Hero’s facility in Rajasthan, and it looks big and strong. The Xoom 125R is expected to make a mark with its features and looks. Here’s everything we know about it so far.

Design and Look

The Hero Xoom 125R is set to look similar to other Xoom models but with its own cool touches. From the back, we can see a sharp design with split LED lights, giving it a modern and sporty feel. It also has a split grab rail, which helps the person sitting in the back hold on better. There’s also a big footrest plate for the backseat rider, which will make longer rides more comfortable.

This scooter is expected to be a bit larger than other models, which makes it look more muscular. Its design will make it stand out from other scooters on the road.

Engine and Power

The Hero Xoom 125R will run on a 124.6cc air-cooled engine. This engine is expected to produce 9.4 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and 10.16Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. This means it will be able to go fast and handle well on city roads. Hero might tweak these numbers a little before the scooter is fully ready for sale, but these are the figures we know for now.

The engine will be paired with a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). This type of gearbox is often smooth and easy to use, making the scooter simple to ride, especially in busy traffic.

High-Tech Features

The Hero Xoom 125R will come with some really cool tech features. First, it will have LED lights all around, which will help riders see better at night and make the scooter look modern. The scooter will also have a digital dashboard, which shows all the important information like speed, fuel level, and more.

One of the coolest features is Bluetooth connectivity. This will allow riders to connect their phone to the scooter, so they can get directions with turn-by-turn navigation or get notifications for calls and texts without having to look at their phone.

Comfort and Ride Quality

Hero has designed the Xoom 125R to be comfortable for both the rider and the person sitting in the back. The scooter will have telescopic front forks in the front and a monoshock at the back. This type of suspension system will help make the ride smooth, even on bumpy roads.

The scooter will also have a front disc brake and a rear drum brake. This will ensure that the scooter stops quickly and safely when needed.

Price and Competition

We expect Hero to offer the Xoom 125R at around Rs. 80,000 for the base model. There might be a higher version available, which could cost about Rs. 90,000.

The Hero Xoom 125R will compete with other scooters in the market like the TVS Ntorq 125, the Honda Dio 125, and the Suzuki Avenis. With its powerful engine and modern features, it will be interesting to see how it compares to these models.
